Who you'll be working with

LoomReach is a London-registered company. We work remotely on UK hours, and come on site when a project needs it.

  1. You know who is building it.

    Whoever plans your project also builds it. Your contract names your main contact and a second one, and nobody else joins without telling you in writing first.

  2. Cover when someone is away.

    Planned time off is announced at least five working days ahead, with the person covering named.

  3. Common tools, easy to hand over.

    We build mostly with Node.js, Python and PHP, on PostgreSQL or SQLite databases, so any capable developer can take the system over.

Four steps, each agreed with you before it starts.

  1. We work out what you need

    A short paid planning step we call discovery: we study your systems, data and ways of working. You get a written plan with the price and timeline, yours to keep.

    Each stage ends with working software you check before you pay. Every Friday you get a short written report.

  3. We launch it and hand it over

    We put it live with a way back to the previous version if anything goes wrong, and walk your team through the running instructions.

  4. We look after it, if you want us to

    Optional monthly support: monitoring, updates, fixes and small changes, with agreed response times.

How we work, step by step

What you get at the end

A working system, and everything you need to run it without us. We set it all up in your company's name.

  • Working software, live on your own hosting.
  • The code, in your own code account from the first day.
  • Domains and other services, billed to you directly.
  • Passwords in a password manager your company controls.
  • Written instructions for running, updating, backing up and restoring the system.
  • A walkthrough with your team, or with your next developer.
  • Full rights in the code, passing to you as each stage is paid.
Day one: the code, accounts and passwords are set up in your name. If you leave: our access is removed, and nothing stops working.

If you move on

No platform fee, and nothing you rent from us. We update the handover documents, walk the new team through them and remove our access, at no extra charge.

What if something goes wrong?

  • Another system goes down

    We build connections so that orders wait and are sent when it's back. None is lost, and none is entered twice.

  • An update causes a problem

    We switch back to the previous version, then fix it before trying again.

  • The AI step gets something wrong

    Your staff switch it off. Work goes back to the manual route, and everything else keeps running.

  • Something critical breaks in working hours

    With monthly support, we respond within two working hours.

  • It happens at night or at the weekend

    Our hours are 09:00–18:00 UK time, Monday to Friday. If your system needs cover outside them, we tell you before you sign and help you arrange it with a provider.

How we charge

A portal can be a small job or a large one, depending on what it connects to. You get your own price in three steps.

  1. 1. A rough range

    Tell us what you need, and your budget if you have one. Our first reply gives a rough range for the whole project.

  2. 2. Discovery

    The first thing you pay for: a fixed price, agreed before it starts. It is credited against the build if you continue with us.

  3. 3. The build

    The contract shows the price of every stage and the total. Each stage is invoiced only when you accept it.

After launch: monthly support

An agreed amount of work each month, with a plan and a report, month to month.

Hosting, licences and other outside costs are billed to you directly by the supplier, with nothing added.

Contracts are under English law and invoiced in pounds sterling.

How we charge, in detail

Questions you may have

How much does it cost?

Our first reply gives a rough range. The build contract then shows each stage price and the total, before you sign. If you tell us your budget, we use it to tell you straight away whether what you want is achievable for that amount, not to set the price.

How long does it take?

Each build stage takes two to four weeks, and the discovery tells you how many you need. So you know the total time before you sign.

How much of our time will it need?

The written plan says whose time we need and how much. At minimum, one person who knows the work answers our questions and checks each stage.

Who owns the code and the accounts?

The code sits in your company's account from day one, and full rights pass to you as each stage is paid. We set up hosting and domains in your name; you hold the keys.

What if we want to leave, or you stop?

You can stop after any stage. Monthly support ends with 30 days' notice from either side, and the handover is included in the price. If we can't continue at all, you already hold everything another developer needs.

What if something doesn't work as agreed?

We fix it at our cost for 30 days after you accept the stage. After that, fixes come under monthly support if you have it; if not, we estimate them in writing before we start.

Where is our data kept, and is it safe?

On your own hosting, in a region you choose, such as the UK or the EU. We sign a data-processing agreement before any personal data reaches us. We don't hold a security certificate; our practices are on the Security and data page.

Do you work with AI?

Yes, for specific jobs such as checking sales calls or reading documents. We try it on real examples from your business first, and your staff can switch it off. Your contract names the AI provider and where it runs, and your content isn't kept for training.
