Welcome to LoomReach. This Cookies Policy explains, in plain English, the cookies and similar technologies we use on loomreach.ai, why we use them, and the simple choices you have. We keep tracking to a minimum: we use only the essentials needed to run the site securely, plus optional analytics that we never switch on without your consent.
This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains in more detail how we handle personal data, international transfers and your rights. Where relevant, our Terms & Conditions also apply.
Who we are
This website is operated by LoomReach Limited (trading as “LoomReach” / “LoomReach.ai”), a private limited company registered in England & Wales under company number 16839451, with its registered office at 411 Oxford Street, Office 1.01, London, W1C 2PE, United Kingdom. LoomReach Limited is the data controller responsible for the cookies and personal data described in this policy.
We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under reference ZC133362. A statutory Data Protection Officer is not required for a company of our size; data-protection matters and any questions about this policy are handled by our team at loomreach@loomreach.ai.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet or phone) when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember things about your visit — for example, that you are logged in, or that you have made a cookie choice. We also use this term loosely to cover similar technologies such as local storage and tags that read or write information on your device.
Cookies can be “first-party” (set by us, loomreach.ai) or “third-party” (set by another organisation, such as Google). They can last only for your browsing session (“session cookies”) or for a set period (“persistent cookies”). The specific cookies we use, who sets them and how long they last are listed in the table below.
How we use cookies
We use cookies for two purposes only:
- Strictly necessary cookies — needed to run the website securely and to deliver features you have asked for (such as keeping an administrator logged in, protecting our contact form from spam, and remembering your cookie choice). These do not require your consent.
- Analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. These are optional and are set only after you give consent.
We do not use advertising, remarketing or targeting cookies. We are not linked to Google Ads or AdSense, and we do not sell personal data. There are therefore no “Functional”, “Performance” or “Marketing” tracking categories on this site beyond the two described above.
Cookies that don’t need consent (strictly necessary)
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), regulation 6(4), consent is not required for cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you have explicitly requested. The cookies below fall within that exemption because, without them, the site cannot work securely or deliver the feature you asked for:
- lr_consent — stores the cookie choice you have made, so we can honour it and not keep asking on every page.
- WordPress login cookies — set only for logged-in administrators, to keep them signed in.
- Wordfence security cookies — protect the site by detecting and blocking malicious traffic.
- reCAPTCHA (_GRECAPTCHA) — distinguishes real people from bots to protect our contact forms from spam. This is treated as strictly necessary / functional because it protects a service you have requested (submitting the form) and does not require a separate opt-in.
- LiteSpeed cache (_lscache_vary) — where served, ensures you are shown the correct cached version of a page.
Importantly, analytics is never treated as strictly necessary. In line with ICO guidance, analytics cookies always require your consent, so neither _ga nor _ga_4P5LGEP4WZ appears in this category.
Analytics cookies and your consent
To understand how our site is used and where we can improve, we use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-4P5LGEP4WZ) together with Google Tag (GT-WRFMZR4D), loaded via Google Site Kit. Google LLC acts as our processor for this analytics data.
These analytics cookies and tags are not strictly necessary and are therefore blocked until you give consent. On your first visit the analytics tags do not fire and no analytics cookies (_ga or _ga_4P5LGEP4WZ) are written to your device. They are set only after you click “Accept all” on our cookie banner. We do not treat continued browsing, scrolling or a previous visit as consent.
Google Analytics data retention for this property is set to 14 months. This server-side retention period is separate from the individual cookie lifetimes shown in the table below.
The cookies we use
The tables below list every cookie we may use, who sets it, what it does, its category and how long it lasts. We do not use any advertising or targeting cookies.
Strictly necessary cookies
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Category | Duration |

Google Consent Mode v2
We implement our cookie banner using Google Consent Mode v2. This tells Google’s tags whether you have consented and, by default, sets every non-essential consent signal — analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization — to “denied”. As a result, Google Analytics is blocked and writes no analytics cookies or identifiable analytics data until you click “Accept all”. Although the ad-related signals exist within Consent Mode, we do not use any advertising or remarketing cookies, so no ad cookies are set on this site at any time. Consent Mode’s basic, cookieless pings do not store cookies on your device.
The consent banner and how it works
On your first visit, a cookie banner asks you to choose. It offers two equally prominent, one-click options on the first screen:
- “Accept all” — switches on optional analytics cookies as well as the strictly necessary ones; and
- “Necessary only” — keeps only the strictly necessary cookies, with no analytics.
Rejecting is as easy as accepting: “Necessary only” sits alongside “Accept all” and does not require you to dig into a sub-menu. No non-essential cookie is placed on your device before you actively choose. We never rely on pre-ticked boxes, sliders defaulted to “on”, or continued use or scrolling of the site to infer consent — under UK GDPR, valid consent must be a clear, affirmative, opt-in action that is freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous. We will ask you again at least every 6 months, which is why the lr_consent cookie that records your choice lasts 6 months.
How to change or withdraw your consent
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time, and doing so is as easy as giving consent in the first place:
- Use the persistent “Cookie settings” link in the website footer — available on every page — to re-open the banner and update your preferences; or
- Clear the cookies for this site, or use your browser’s cookie controls (see below), and the banner will appear again.
Withdrawing consent takes effect going forward and stops further analytics cookies being set; it does not affect the lawfulness of any processing that took place while your consent was in force. Choosing “Necessary only” or withdrawing consent will not stop you using the website normally.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can also manage or delete cookies directly through your browser settings — most browsers let you block or remove cookies and warn you before new ones are set. Please note that if you block or delete strictly necessary cookies, parts of the site may not work properly (for example, secure forms or staying logged in as an administrator). Guidance for managing cookies is provided within the help section of your particular browser.
Third parties and international transfers
Our optional analytics data is processed by Google LLC as our processor, and our contact-form protection (reCAPTCHA) is also provided by Google. Our website is hosted by Hostinger on servers in the EU/UK. Our contact forms (Contact Form 7) themselves do not set tracking cookies; how we handle the information you submit through a form is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Some providers (such as Google) may process data outside the UK, including in the USA. Where they do, such transfers are protected by UK “adequacy regulations” / the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or by the ICO’s International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, together with additional safeguards. Fuller detail on recipients, transfers and safeguards is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in the law. When we make material changes, we will update the page and, where appropriate, ask for your consent again. Please check back periodically to stay informed.
